Character development is a very important aspect of life at Hadleigh Junior School. Our Core Values of being Resilient, Independent, Creative and Inquisitive are evident in all aspects of school life. Having such strong values supports our pupils to develop a growth mind-set, high standards of behaviour and adaptability that will stand them in good stead as they progress through their education and onto future employment.
We aim to provide an environment where pupils feel safe, supported and encouraged to achieve fully, becoming lifelong learners.
We recognise that parents and carers play a vital role in aiding children to make personal and academic progress, and so we develop effective home-school partnerships through communication, workshops, information meetings and targeted engagement projects.
We are committed to collaborating with the wider school community and the rich, local area is central to our creative curriculum. Our dedicated professionals skilfully incorporate the resources on our doorstep into purposeful, engaging learning, both within and outside of our classrooms.
Our learning, social and moral links include: Hadleigh Castle, Hadleigh Park (London 2012 mountain bike venue), Belfairs Woods and local religious groups to name a few.
To fully experience what our school has to offer, we recommend a guided visit, by prior arrangement, enabling you to witness our core values and community-minded ethos, first-hand.
We look forward to welcoming you,
Mr. Glenn Moore and Miss Jennifer Cole
